Construction Jihad Ministry, Japan to Expand Cooperation

TEHRAN - The Japanese Ambassador to Tehran, Takaya Suto, here on Tuesday said that there are major potentials for expansion of Iran-Japan cooperation. Suto made the statement in a meeting with Iran's Minister of Construction Jihad, Mohammad Saeedi-Kia, who gave the Japanese diplomat a report on his ministry's activities. Japan has carried out considerable amount of research in various fields, Saeedi-Kia said, adding that his ministry is keen to use Japanese scientific experiences to carry out its projects.
Cooperation between Japan and the Construction Jihad can help boost the overall ties between the two countries, the Iranian official said.
